In the Heat of Finals, Find Comfort, Community and Chilaquiles

Feeling the weight of finals, Matadors? Don’t fret — stress relief is on the way! There are some time-honored traditions on campus to finish strong with a full belly and plenty of supplies to get you through finals week, May 10-16. Read on for free eats, free stuff and even some fun.
University Student Union:
This year, Crunch Time in the USU will take place over two weeks, May 5-7 and May 12-15, with activities in the USU Plaza del Sol:
- Monday, May 5, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Study Supply Station (pencils, pens, erasers and Scantrons).
- Tuesday, May 6, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Build & Bond (Mini-LEGO Building)
- Wednesday, May 7, 4 to 7 p.m.: Express Your Stress (Community Space)
- Monday, May 12, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Study Supply Station
- Tuesday, May 13, 9 a.m. to Noon: Continental Breakfast
- Wednesday, May 14, 9 a.m. to Noon: Pancake Breakfast
- Thursday, May 15, 9 a.m. to Noon: Chilaquiles
A study lounge will be set up in the USU East Conference Center, with study supplies and snacks each day from May 5-16, during the center’s operating hours:
Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Plus: On May 5, have some fun and enjoy some laughs at “Finals are a Drag,” featuring performances by drag queens and kings. 4 to 6 p.m. in the Northridge Center of the USU.
University Library
The University Library is hosting “The Finals Countdown,” with fun events and extended hours, May 5-16.
*Extended library hours
The library will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m., except for May 16, when it will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Build Your Own Finals Survival Kit
Starting on May 5, get prepared by creating your own Finals Survival kit with stickers, snacks, highlighters and more, at the Main Floor Lobby.
Press Your Stress! Button-Making
Wednesday, May 8, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thursday, May 9, 1 to 4 p.m.
Check-out Board Games
Grab a board game at the Guest Services Desk, through May 17.
Graffiti Board
Express yourself and get creative! May 5-17 at the Main Floor Learning Commons.
