Fall 2025 classes begin soon, Matadors! Bookmark the Student Academic Calendar and the Registration Calendar to keep track of important dates. To get you started, here’s a rundown of key events. Here’s to a fantastic fall semester! 

Weekend classes: Friday-Saturday and Saturday-only classes begin Saturday, Aug. 23. Sunday-only classes start Sunday, Aug. 24. 

Weekday classes begin Monday, Aug. 25. 

Friday-only classes begin Friday, Aug. 29. 

Aug. 24 — Last day of nonrestrictive registration. 

Aug. 25 — Late registration begins. 

Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 — Labor Day holiday. Campus offices are closed. No instruction from Saturday, Aug. 30 to Monday, Sept. 1. 

Sept. 1 — Last day to wait-list for closed classes. 

Sept. 2 — Permission required to add classes. 

Sept. 12 — Last day for partial refund. 

Sept. 12 — Last day for graduate students to drop classes online. 

Sept. 21 — Last day for undergraduate students to drop classes online. 

Sept. 22 — The fifth week of classes begins. 

Sept. 26 — Last day to file documents for bachelor’s degree and diploma to graduate in summer 2025.  

Nov. 11 — Veterans Day holiday. No instruction. Campus offices are closed. 

Nov. 14 — Last day to add a fall 2025 class online  with instructor permission. 

Nov. 27 to Nov. 30 — Thanksgiving recess. No classes held Thursday, Nov. 27 to Sunday, Nov. 30. Campus offices are closed. 

Dec. 6 and Dec. 7 — Last weekend classes. 

Dec. 12 — Last day of formal instruction, fall 2025 semester. 

Dec. 13 to 19 — Finals week. 

Dec. 24 — Last official day, fall 2025 semester.
