This cluster of science and math buildings is home to the departments of Geological Science, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Mathematics, and Physics and Astronomy. You’ll find the Chemistry Tutoring Center in Eucalyptus Hall. The Math Department has several tutoring options: a center in Live Oak Hall and another in Bayramian Hall, where drop-ins are welcome — or you can meet over Zoom. The department features a teaching program that places Mathematics graduate students in local schools.
The Donald E. Bianchi Planetarium, adjacent to Citrus Hall, is operated by CSUN’s Department of Physics and Astronomy. At the heart of the 100-seat star theatre lies the Spitz-512 Star Projector, capable of re-creating the night sky on our 40-foot dome with accuracy and brilliance. More than 2,000 stars, the five visible planets and all of the apparent motions of the sky come alive overhead in a unique and relaxing environment.
