Santa Susana Hall houses the departments of Africana Studies, Jewish Studies, Religious Studies and Sociology. The Institute for Sustainability — which works campuswide to integrate sustainability into all aspects of the university — is also located here. CSUN exercises leadership by modeling ways to minimize global warming emissions and educating students and the community about what it takes to achieve climate neutrality. The institute also manages CSUN's food garden, a project to help you learn about gardening techniques and making healthy choices.
