The Friends of Griffith Park organized an Earth Day celebration on Saturday where the Los Angeles community assisted in planting native species and removing invasive plants. The Friends of Griffith Park were accompanied by the Mayor, a City Council member and Parks and Recreation staff. They highlight how the city is becoming more sustainable and what LA citizens can do to make a difference for our environment.
