Below are the crime logs provided by the CSUN Department of Police Services for the week of Oct. 12 to Oct. 18.

 

Sunday, Oct. 12

These crime logs were reported on Oct. 12; the dates of the actual crimes are included if needed for clarity.

Between Oct. 9 and Oct. 10, an unknown suspect stole a secured bicycle at Parking Lot F9.

On Oct. 11, an unknown suspect stole a package from Building 23 of the University Park Apartments.

 

Monday, Oct. 13

There is nothing to report.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 14

At 5:30 p.m., an unknown suspect’s vehicle hit a stopped vehicle in Parking Structure G6. The suspect left without exchanging information with the victim.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 15

At 7:30 p.m., CSUN officers confiscated a stun gun from a suspect at Building 13 of the University Park Apartments.

 

Thursday, Oct. 16

These crime logs were reported on Oct. 16; the dates of the actual crimes are included if needed for clarity.

A pink marker was used to write graffiti in a men’s restroom in Jacaranda Hall.

At 7:44 a.m., the campus CCTV system captured an unknown female suspect damaging the receipt roll from a pay station at Parking Structure G6.

Red spray paint was used by unknown suspect(s) to write graffiti on the ground of Cypress Hall.

Markers were used by unknown suspect(s) to write graffiti on a wall and on benches at the Orange Grove.

Between Oct. 11 and Oct. 15, an unknown suspect made multiple social media posts regarding a victim. The offense was labeled “Annoying Electronic Communications.”

On Oct. 15, an unknown suspect stole a person’s sunglasses at the University Library.

At 1:39 p.m., CSUN officers arrested a suspect for vandalism at The Soraya.

At 2:45 p.m., a known suspect assaulted a victim at Bookstein Hall.

Between 11:45 a.m. and 1:20 p.m., an electric scooter was stolen by an unknown suspect at Bayramian Hall.

Between 4 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., a secured electric scooter was stolen by an unknown suspect at Redwood Hall.

A black marker was used by an unknown suspect to write graffiti in a men’s restroom in Citrus Hall.

On Oct. 15, a secured electric scooter was stolen by an unknown suspect at Sagebrush Hall.

Between 12:30 p.m. and 1:40 p.m., an electric scooter was stolen by an unknown suspect at the University Student Union.

 

Friday, Oct. 17

At 2:11 p.m., the campus CCTV system captured an unknown suspect hitting a traffic sign with their vehicle at the crossroads of Darby Avenue and Prairie Street. The suspect left without reporting the collision.

 

Saturday, Oct. 18

At 8:09 p.m., an unknown suspect pulled the fire alarm on level 3 of Parking Structure G6 when there was no fire.
